I started my clinical work in a community-based center in Denton, TX helping others work through anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I later began my journey in working with brain-injury at a rehabilitation hospital in Frisco, TX supporting patients and their families as they worked to adjust to sudden significant life change. It became apparent to me the importance of offering supportive tools and connecting people to community resources that would be able to support them in their continued adjustment. However, I quickly learned that finding community resources for continued mental health services was more challenging than expected. As I work to grow in myself and my practice, my focus is to be able to provide a space where access to mental health services is accessible for all.
